Parifica were formed on Hallowe'en Night 2001 and have so far released two EPs; The "Temperature" EP and the "Untitled" EP which are both amazing displays of their post Emo Indie Punk skills. Since parting company with Occasion Recordings, Parifica started up their own festival, LOVEFEST. This enabled themselves and other local bands showcase their material. Parifica have been described as a mix of the bluesy rock of Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, the ethereal weirdness of The Cooper Temple Clause and they have The Foo Fighters pop sensibilities. |
