Andrew's music began in 1989 after being
given a keyboard for Christmas. Since then, coupled with his ability to
play by ear, he went on to write and make his own music. After fronting
relatively successful Suffolk based band Supernatural, he returned to his
native Cambridge in 1998 and helped found and front Octosound whilst also
recording his own solo and collaborative material with poet Alan Pedder, songwriter and remixer
(Liberty X, Tori Amos) Matt Youens and pop starlet Heaton. He's even had
dealings with Eurovision and Goldfrapp.
His style switches from song to song and
ranges from pop to rock, dance to electro and his most recent music
project sees Classical music being fused with Electro. His own musical
tastes are tainted with Tricky, Portishead, Björk, Nick Cave, David Arnold, John
Barry, Gotan Project, Aphex Twin, Stephen Duffy, Lamb and even his
cousin's work, Ross Martyn.
