Sound City Riot Act (SCRA) were  formally known as Feral and were formed in 2001 when Jef McGonigle and Dave Saul met at music college. They jammed and it sounded good, Once they wrote a number of tunes they decided to get a bassist in to round off the sound.

After a while they found Wayne Shaw who had just moved to Cambridge, and started jamming.
 

They played their 1st gig at the Boatrace in early 2003, since then they have played fairly regulary in Cambridge with bands like The Furious Sleep, Cosy Cosy and Meadowman.
