The Barnum Effect have risen from the ashes of the now defunct The Ninth Plan, with a raw cutting edge. Described frequently as "a crack crazed gang of football enthusiasts from hell, bent on buggering the living daylights out of posh householders"... well, that can't possibly be true because they don't dig football and steer well clear from drugs... but like the sound of the posh householders!

What you can expect from The Barnum Effect though, is ripping guitars, charging bass, cracking snares and piercing symbols - all snapped together with some raw post-punk vocals for extra grind.

Support slots with Abdoujaparov (ex-Carter USM) and gripping reviews show that this is the start of something not exactly beautiful but just downright bloody exciting.
