Headrush
formed in 2000 and started gigging and rehearsing new material
throughout 2001. Having sharpened their blades rehearsing and
performing live further during 2002, 2003 heralded their strongest
year to date with a long line of gigs, building their following and
putting in studio recording time with Noel Rafferty (AC/DC, Skunk
Anansie, Bon Jovi, EMF, The Farm).
Their loyal and increasing number of fans, now known as The Rush
contribute to and run part of headrushonline.co.uk – the bands newly
revamped website. headrushonline provides information on gigs, the
band members, live reviews, chat forum and media resources including
photos and MP3 samples. Joining the email mailing list ensures that
fans receive all the latest information from the band and any
promotions on a regular basis.
2004 promises to be an exciting year for the evermore determined
Headrush. Armed with new tracks in the making and an impressive back
catalogue, their aim for the first part of the year is to up the ante
- playing more venues and courting industry attention.
In October 2003 Headrush decided to dip a toe in commercial water by
producing an 8 track CD ‘Eight’ for sale at gigs. With a sound ranging
from the feisty to the delicate, from heavy electric rock to acoustic
ballads, there is something in Headrush for everyone who enjoys rock
music. Demand exceeded expectations for ‘Eight’ and new stock has been
ordered!
