Elements of four
combative forces joined together in a distinctive display of musical
elation with the merge of black, death, thrash as well as gothic metal
creating a wicked art form know as Twisted Autumn Darkness. Twisting
into formation in 1999, the band consists of Namaste (vocals, guitar),
Aeon (lead guitar), Oskariot (bass) and Sathan (drums). Members create
such intensity with ferocious guitar work over lapped by concentrated
cadenced sounds captivated by the onslaught of the rapid turbulent
rhythm section.
Creating a new
being completely their own Twisted Autumn Darkness’s first demo
release entitled Darkness Rising in 2001 stirred critical acclaim by
the underground scene claiming new fan victims as well as reviews
stating “They are a breath of fresh air”. Through the changes in line
up of original vocalist and keyboardist the band stayed true to the
twisted energy thus finding that final counterpart by recruiting
Namaste whom took over the vocal duties. Blending his sinister guitar
essence to the cluster as well as hades inspired singing and
songwriting the band went into the studio of May 2003 to begin
recording the full length album.
Entering in
Purple Studios in Norwich to being the creation of this obscurity
perverse they brought in recording engineer Richard Hammerton (Miranda
Sex Garden, Catherine Wheel, Deviated Instinct) to assist in their
process of melodious revelation. Adding another link to this autumn
darkness the studio is set within a graveyard as a result giving the
band that eerie stimulation that gave to the accompanying feel to the
milieu of recording.
Producing a
menacing assail in the delineate of Destroy the Bastard and Trinity,
an album score of deep lyrical substance and for musical achievements
this album not only renders the soul to pieces but smashes the lesser
beings into place. Musically diverse in aggressive melodic overtones
their sound can be described as a frame of brutal creativity at its
best. Intense guitar minds fitted well with an assertive array of
concentrated tempo subdivisions Twisted Autumn Darkness prevails like
none other.
